I remember a coin from the 1700&#039;s, V nickels, mercury dimes, buffalo nickels, and the one that stood out the most to me was a flying eagle. She told me those coins were for me. I thought it was strange for her to say they were mine since she had 4 boys and 2 girls exactly like her twin my mom who had 4 boys and 2 girls also. </p><p><br /></p><p>Well I soon found out why they were offered to me because my cousins went into my aunts jewelry box got all those coins and went to the store and bought candy with them. Well needless to say the coins weren&#039;t in the register anymore when my aunt tried to retrieve them. </p><p><br /></p><p>I never got those coins but my aunt is the reason I love coins because there was a nice set of coins that she had (20+) in that small collection. My 6 cousins got the switch they had to pick from the tree. Plus a lot of candy since it was a penny for a piece in 1970. </p><p><br /></p><p>When I think about that collection the one I can still picture is the flying eagle, and I see my 5 yr old self standing there looking at it with my mouth open. </p><p><br /></p><p>Hope y&#039;all enjoyed my stories because I enjoy the things I have read on here.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
