Well, I was snoozing last week when you guys were posting 1st & 2nd century BC. But how you're hitting the meat of my collection. So here are some of my favorite first century AD coins I'll share: Nerva; 96-98 AD AE As; 29mm/9.4g OBV: IMP NERVA CAES AVG P M TR P COS III P P, laureate head right REV: CONCORDIA EXERCITVVM S-C, clasped hands. the first century AD is a weak spot in my collection. here are a couple that are for sure 1st century.. herod agrippa 42-43 ad and soter megas (vima takto) 80-100 ad
Tossin' the ol' Prutah onto the table, eh? (well played) ... oh, and your other offering rocks!! (soter megas (vima takto)) ... *sweet*
Thanks. I'm liking the new Avatar Hadji! All we need now is Johnny and the good Doctor Quest...and we're off on an adventure!
Alright Chrsmat...you're Johnny, I'm thinking Doug could be a passable Dr Quest. Between the four of us we can go on a treasure hunt to dig up some more 1st Century coins. Any volunteers to play the villain? No real acting skills required. You just have to be able to say "You fools! Now you shall pay for your insolence!!" in a thick German accent.
