The important thing is you learn from it &amp; don&#039;t repeat it.</p><p>I have probably 60 coins to 1 slabbed. Rarely is it important to buy a coin in a slab. You can&#039;t trust because it&#039;s in a slab that it&#039;s not a fake.</p><p>Take your time start small like suggested then graduate to bigger &amp; better things as you learn &amp; can afford it. Also don&#039;t gamble on a coin purchase more than your willing to loose.</p><p>I am a lot like MKent as to starting then moving on to something else. I have more collections started than finished by far. But I&#039;ll cycle back around when I see something I need for a certain collection or my mood changes. It keeps me fresh entertained and always learning. My wife has said she&#039;d be happy with all the money &amp; time I spend with my coins if I&#039;d just finish 1 or 2. </p><p>Bottom line,&nbsp; I could care less what anybody else thinks of any given of my coins.
