A pattern halfpenny in aluminium by Taylor that cost me about $100 on ebay in 2009. It was unknown to Peck in his tome in this metal, but probably existed given most others did. It is worth bearing in mind that when this was struck, aluminium was a precious metal due to the cost of extraction, so all are rare. Like the others in this group is probably unique, and like a majority of that group is badly corroded.
