A new addition to my toner collection from Kevin via Greg (Gbroke). I am happy to have purchased such an attractive coin, and will probably submit it to NGC, just because all of my Morgans are either PCGS or NGC. LOVE the obverse toning!! Right now, it is in an ICG slab, as a MS 62.
Jello, your images are too small to even try and identify any VAMs. Here is a couple that I picked up recently.
:foot-mouth:I have too agree the photo are To Small!!! but will find a new way to have a contest on a Different thread so Bo on the the Watch for this name @ Cointalk threads. ****1878-P7/8 Contest *****
First pic is another one I got recently, 2nd pic is one I have had for over a year. I just got around to getting a pic of it.
I guess I have to get a lot better at taking photos of color. This one has blues/tiel colors but I can't get much color to show up on the photos. Edited to try and add a better photo capturing the color on the obverse.. Guess I need to play around with lighting and try diffusing it all that fancy stuff !!! Anyway - 1881S 65
i posted some terrible photos of this morgan when i first joined the forum. frankly, not sure if these are any better. scratches are on the case
Just got this one today. I did not have this date as a toned Morgan before, and now I have two of them. This one is a 64, and to me, falls just short of a * designation:
The latest addition to my Morgan family of toned coins. Surprised this one did not rate the * for unusual toning:
