    It would have taken a while to drive to Philly Mint !! That is a Philidelphia Coin ( no mintmark ) !! IF it was a dropped letter it would have to come from the D in IN GOD WE TRUST !! Post mint damage !!

    I have the answer on this one. The OP coin was found on the ground next to a pond that contained many beavers. Figure it out from there. : )

    That is a big hole it is damged in circukation if you notice to the right there are also some big indentations in the fields Post mint without a doubt

    Boy, it sure started out good,...that would have been so cool to have a mintmark on the chin. Still waiting on my results from CONECA on my possible mint mark dropped number...or the other possible answer of zinc rot...AHHHHHH I have had fun with it, and it sounds like you do too...great hobby!!!:smile
