    This one has me puzzled.
    Clashed die, broken die?
What happened here? IMAG0310_1.jpg IMAG0316_1.jpg IMAG0314.jpg IMAG0325.jpg Between the legs and wings
And there's a few extra rays on the left and right.

What made me look closer at it was the weak mm

So, it was bit by the Rim bug?

The reverse is area in question. Not the dings on the obverse. Between the legs and wings
Raised areas on both sides and extra rays

The marks on the neck are pmd.

I'm not sure about the reverse but I see the marks on the obverse fairly often. They're likely just bag marks wherein another coin with a sharp (fresh) reeded edge hit it.

I had to pull out a Kennedy to compare. I see what you're talking about. I'm just not sure. Sorry. Others will chime in.

The close up of the obv is to show the very weak mm

Not, sure what is going on either. I pulled a 69 SMS. Are those marks indented?

This (weak mintmark) is of no significance whatsoever.

As for the reverse anomaly, I could only speculate. Perhaps @atrox001 could be of more help.

The MM is what made me look closer

They are different for sure. But why I don't know. Not a Kennedy collector.

Yes, you already said that. I guess it's good that something caused you to look closer at the coin, but it is of no real significance and a fairly common occurrence.

I'd rule out a clash because that area on the obverse would be in Kennedy's hair above the ear.

    Maybe clashed with a Roosevelt
    Maybe just dreaming
