Check this site out and read his description. One very dissatisfied US Mint customer talking about the lousy quality control of the new US Marshal coins. I got a good laugh out of this one...and to boot he is losing a lot of money on the coins when you consider shipping and grading by NGC. Be sure to read the "seller notes" at the top too. I am still laughing!!

The fool didn't take the time to learn how to grade, and he blames NGC for it?

His One Dollar coin listing has a normal disciption but his proof 1/2 is just as bad (good IMO lol) as the one the OP posted.

    Dollar:

You need to look under "Composition"

    PLUTONIUM, IRIDIUM, STRONTIUM
    LOL

He had another listing of a set of a proof and an MS and talked great about them, here's what he said, "Notice anything"
BOTH 50 CENT CLAD COINS COMPLETE WITH ALL OGP. THESE ARE FIRST DAY OF ISSUE COINS GRADED BY NGC MS 69 AND PROOF 69 ULTRACAMEOS ON BOTH $.50 PLUTONIUM COINS. PURCHASED AT LONG BEACH.

Sounds like he is blaming the mint, not NGC

Hilarious but I always say, tell it like it is. He can take a loss but I can't justify spending even the $25.00 he is asking for a cupro nickel 50 cent piece from him or less from the mint.

I agree but if someone needs one in a slab & 1st day label you can't bet that price

He most likely never looked at them just bought them & took over to the NGC table with dreams of large profits dancing thru his head

Yeah, but it wasn't like the 20th Anniversary SAE set which could not be opened because the burnished Eagle was sold separately. There is no reason the sets couldn't be opened, and it is very easy to tell the difference between 69 & 70.

If this was even remotely accurate the 70 numbers would far, far exceed the 69 numbers for any modern. Which they don't even come close to.

This must be his selling style. Some like it. Selling a 25c coin for $25 must help with his pain - how much does it cost to slab a coin?
