The second and third photos shows the thickness. The more I enlarged it the blurrier it became but it shows the 3 layers. The last photo also shows the 3 layers on this coin.</p><p>It’s the Buffalo Nickel, another layer of a metal and the copper layer. I think the middle layer is hollowed out with copper layer over it. The copper is plastic, not metal. If I hold this with my index finger and thumb and press the copper side in towards the coin, it clicks. Yes, it makes a click noise. I’ve never seen anything like this except in toy clickers. I think it a riot and I can’t believe someone came up with this idea and built it.</p><p>Do I have a million dollar coin if I put it on the bay?
