I know many of you are sick of my FH so heres another. It's a duplicate of a FH I already acquired just back in October. You can't see the decorations on the horse rump very well, but other than that I'm very happy with this one. DN CONSTAN-TIVS PF AVG Constantius II pearl-diademed, draped, cuirassed bust right RE-PARATIO soldier spearing Horseman, Two braids, reaching ALEΔ in ex. Γ in left field Alexandria 72 var. Feel free to share your own.
My first FH coin was this first Alexandria from officina A which I always thought was of exceptional style for this mint. The grade is not up to yours but the long portrait is very "Alexandria" where being a bit different from the rest always seemed to be valued highly. I later filled out the set of four which each has a different look to the portrait. A characteristic of Alezandria seems to be that the horse hangs its head below the ground line.
nice RG...i'm not sick of these at all...in fact they these larger LRB are growing on me. here's a constantius ii fel temp i recently picked up from alexandria....not a fallen horseman, but still has nice style....
Thanks all I like em all Alexndria is my favorite style, but it's one I definitely appreciate. Those are all great coins. My ALEA it pretty beat up, but I still like. I found a die match on a Forvm gallery. Can make out the typo better on the rev. I really like that one. Mine was sneezed on by Shrek :/
