Yes, another Gallienus zoo coin

    Interesting celator's error on the reverse, substituting the Greek H (eta) for a Roman E. I like the way the stag is rendered, too.

    Wow nice pickup! Heres on thats very similar I have not yet attributed it yet, 5 coins were given to me by @Victor_Clark one attributed 4 to be attributed I have 3 of the four attributed this is the last of the four that I'm planning in doing tomorrow. By the way Victor thank you again ;).

    Nice! And how generous of @Victor_Clark to have gifted you those coins. You may be familiar with these websites already but I find this and this to be very helpful resources when it comes to attributing coins of Gallienus.

    Reverse: P M TR P XIII, lion standing left, bucranium (cow skull) between front legs; C VI P P and palm branch in exergue

    Size: 21mm; 3.39 grams

    Gallienus Antoninianus

    Obv:– GALLIENVS AVG, Radiate head left
    Rev:– SAECVLARHS AVG, stag standing right; palm in exergue
    Minted in Antioch. A.D. 265.
    Reference:– Göbl 1626a. RIC 656 var. (bust right and SAECVLARES). RSC 925b.

    It should be noted that SAECVLARES examples do not actually seem to exist and this SAECVLARHS is the most common spelling with a SAECVLARIS variant being scarcer.
