I have only bought from a television program or advertisement. My first dip into buying coins turned out great. I bought several gold coins from a local reputabel coin dealter. My second and third dip into purchasing coins was from Mike, but it didn't turn out to bad. I bought a 12 set in a tube of 1921 Morgan coins. I think I paid $500 for them. One of the Morgans has beautiful color on it. I don't remember if it was there when I got them. I also got a 1921 D and a 1921S, which will be matched with the 2021D and 2021S. Anybody have any suggestions where I can get a 2 coin coin holder that is nice? I did buy an American Silver Coin from Rick's TV show. It is the ASE from a Congratulation set. It came to me PF60 Ultra Cameo. All in all I think I did pretty good.
One other coin subject. I saw an ad last night that they said was a 2021 $2 silver coin from the Cook Islands. There was a lady saying that the coins would be nice with our collection. The price at the end was $29.95. Is this a gimic? The lady in the ad was advertised as someone that had worked with the Mint or some other association that was to giver the coin and her a good reputation.

 

1/2 oz @ $29.95 is $60/oz...maybe real
