This coin is in an old PCGS holder that doesn't show the edge of the coin. It was slabbed before "deflation" & sure looks better than AU58. I've seen MS62 $10 not as nice as this one. The coin melts at $754.00 & I'm selling it at $800.00.

This was the 1st commemorative $10 gold coin struck by the U.S. & had the same weight & fineness as the old $10 coins, 16.718 gm, .900 fineness. Melt value $754.00, my price $700.00. SOLD

Canadian $10 gold coins were minted for only 3 years, 1912,1913, & 1914. They have the same weight & fineness as U.S. $10 gold coins. The Canadian government had a hoard of 300,000 of these $10 coins, & in 2015 decided to release 30,000 of the best looking examples & melted all the rest :jawdrop:. This coin came from that hoard. $850.00. SOLD
