Hello All, Meow got a bit tired with the pennies this last few weeks. So did some rolls of random quarters. And was a bit shocked to find a San Antonio W quarter. Meow would have thought these were all found by now and collected. Also in pocket change a mildly die clashed bicentennial quarter and a 2022d dime with greased dies on both sides (common) but with a fairly large crack in Roosevelt's head out to the rim. Also Meow made another trip to the coinstar today.
My first reaction to that last shot: "why is Meow putting 1911 cents into a CoinStar?" I guess it's a mark of my age that I often try to interpret a 4-digit number starting with 19 as a year, not a quantity...
Meow just had a weird thought too that was even worse. Meow might have thought is Meow using a 1911 to hold up a coinstar for pennies? Anyway, Meow still has a lot of pennies left in the lunch pail to do.
Meow looked at this page just now without being signed in. Meow saw a post Meow did not see before. Meow is sure it is a member that was feline unfriendly and was put on ignore by Meow. But now that Meow has seen the question, the answer is no fee if one opts for the gift card. Look in the top right of the screen you will see it says Amazon. So Meow at that time was going to get a gift card from them. There are over a dozen choices of gift cards to choose from. OR if one opts for cash there is a 11 percent fee. Cats don't go for that, so they always go for a gift card.
I don't look at my pennies unless they are "wheaties". Is that bad? I just don't like much after say 1958, on them. Okay, I'll go away now.....
Wheaties are really hard to find CRH. If found, its 40s 50s junk. Meow has not found a 1930s one in years.
Sorry, I don't CRH but have gotten several in change from strange locations (Cannabis dispensary, Smoke shop etc.). You know, the regular Saturday morning run. Here's a "Ring of Wheaties" over the past year.
