Romans issue coins to commemorate anniversaries (V, X, XX, XXX, etc.). Celebrating your first year here, a VOT I coin.
Happy 1 year anniversary @ancient coin hunter ! Seems like you've been around longer than a year, and doesn't seem like I've been poking around for over 5! https://www.cointalk.com/threads/unknown-christ-coin.218955/ The coin in my first thread is FOR SURE a modern fantasy piece or tourist token of some type. Style is weird, weight is very light for some type of Byzantine coin from that period.
A year huh. Congrats. I missed right over my 2 year last month. I'll get back to regularity here soon I hope. It's a great place to hang out and I miss everyone, most every one, kidding. Congrats on the year mark @ancient coin hunter
