    I think that's a beauty, and a very successful restoration, even if it wasn't terrible beforehand.

    I bet edgedynamicmarketing (or whatever his moniker is) on eBay could do wonders to that coin in the slab... :vamp: ;) Maybe if he turns down the gas some and does it more slowly it wouldn't look so awful.

    (I'm only kidding, but I do wonder what a coin doctor could do with this - not that I would advocate that though).

    @C-B-D The images you took of this coin and posted on social media look much better than the True Views. The True Views do you no favors. I would have posted your in hand photos.

    I would want it in its original state, even though the details were largely obscured, but it’s nice to see an example of their restoration service. Curious what it will sell for now.
