Would you crack these old ACG holders?

Are these slabs worth anything cracked open and coinless?

I collect Accugrade for the history, the dozens of variations of the label over the years. My interest would be the reverse label matched to the front.

Keep in mind that you cannot list them on ebay unless you list them as "uncertified" ebay only allows the top 4 grading companies indicating a numerical grade. I like them as they are and would leave them as is. JMHO

I would crack them out due to the history.

I had to google what the old ACG holders look like. Now I'm curious about how the coins are held in place in those holders. I don't see any tabs along the circumference. Thanks.

@JeffC there are tiny little nubbs - in the 1st pic look at 7 o'clock on the reverse.

Ok, thanks. Funny, on the images I see from my googling, I don't see those nubs and was curious how the coins were supported. For example,[IMG]
EDIT: Nevermind. I see it now in this bigger version. Wow. Very tiny nubs.

Crack them out and never mention that they were in those old slabs ever again.

It's the coin that gives the plastic value not the other way around. You can easily sell a coin without a slab but a slab without a coin......

That's the plan. I hope they crack open easily. The holders would make nice little targets at the gun range. ;)
