I can't believe some was allowed to use a copyright name as a user moniker here ;)

I think it's okay because in this instance it means "Pretty Crappy Guarantee (by) Seller".

IMO I would have the coin returned, upon receipt refund the money and relist. For future I would drop the return policy altogether. Maybe this guy saw a simalar coin for half the price so he's just being nit-picky because he doesn't want to pay for both, maybe he swapped coins on you but then again maybe he just doesn't like the way it looks. If you say you listed and described the coin properly and it's real that's all ebay cares about. Well that and lining their pockets. As far as I know the only returns you must accept are mislisted/described coins and coins that turn out to be counterfeit unless you offer a return policy of your own. Let the buyers assume everything based on what they see and read that way it's their own decisions and it's on them. List the coin accurately, make sure its genuine and price it for what you want but for god's sake NEVER say oh it's red because your red may be a buyers magenta or maroon red and you will always have to deal with this.

Do you think that you really have a choice in this matter? Accept the return graciously. The alternative can only destroy you.

Thanks everyone for your help and support! I've decided to take the return and graciously refund the seller as soon as I get the coin back in hand.

Glad to hear you are doing the right thing. As you know, that is the chance you take selling on ebay. You can always list it locally on Craigslist, meet the buyer in person and not worry about returns if he/she doesn't like.

As stated, when you get it back, re-list it and who knows, you might get more for it on the re-listing ;) :thumb:

Would NGC fix this problem? I have a PCGS coin (1909-S VDB) with a CLEAR speck of dust/paper/etc. right in the center of the reverse. Yes, it's obviously inside the slab suspended against the coin.... ;)

Off hand I'd say they would, but I can't say that with conviction. Others more knowledgeable need to chime in.....

Bottom line: you HAVE a return policy, so take the coin back and move on.
eBay buyer protection will force your hand anyway.
