Would this coin benefit from PCGS Restoration?

    I am really concerned about 2 spots. Each spot that I see, looks like a problem underneath. Both on the obverse - Above the "Y" in liberty and below the wing in the headdress. Anacs I have found inherently grades high so end result I guess we will see - please keep us informed.

    That's actually very interesting, I always assumed it was always an up charge on any submission but the costs are much more reasonable than I thought.

    Knowing that yes I would take a shot and see if there's anything they think they can help on that

    I’d be the type to crack it soak in acetone and send in raw. I think a lot of the crap may come off with acetone
