would this be considered a mis-aligned die (mad) error???

was wondering if this would be considered an error, or mis-aligned die coin due to the tapering then missing denticles?? {on obverse} am considering purchasing it, asking price is 9.50 from a reputable seller of coins i have dealt with in the past..any comments?? thanks

It's struck like 2% off center. Not enough to add any value though.

 

That is definitely not Off Center..
Just a very minor misalignment..
There is a huge difference between an Off center and Misaligned Strike.

 

Look at the obverse. I believe it might be.

 

Just a minor misalignment. An Off Center involves both sides. So your incorrect.
