Would this be a good example Roman Republic coin for my collection?

    Price is between $60 and $70. What do you guys think?

    Lol, the other listed one that was cheaper got bought, wanted it too but owell. I have this example already. Its fairly common & in that shape, about $45 is what its worth.

    I consider the price to be about reasonable. Republicans are going up. Mine was $49 in 2000. I believe you have a dolphin as the obverse minor type but that slightly weak strike is really the only problem I have with the coin as a middle of the road Republican.

    It's a nice looking RR and probably worth about that price you paid. I'm still hunting one of these for my RR collection. My only problem with the OP coin is the device off flan as Doug pointed out. It does look like a dolphin.
