Having it in a TPG slab helps as well since nobody is going to pay a premium for a coin which may not be gradeable.</p><p><br /></p><p>The PCGS Price Guide shows ranges from $160 in MS62 up to $500 for MS67. </p><p><br /></p><p>For a Presidential Dollar coin that is missing the edge lettering, these appear to be common for an MEL as PCGS has graded a total of 1,069 coins that are missing that edge lettering. I have no idea how many NGC has graded but its possible that its a comparable number.</p><p><br /></p><p>If you only paid a buck for it, $200 sounds like a reasonable offer.
