What you&#039;re suggesting would require a temperature above the boiling point. And the heat generated by striking a coin never comes anywhere near that, not even close. A struck coin could be ejected right into your hand and it might feel slightly warm but there wouldn&#039;t even be any discomfort. </p><p><br /></p><p>And the dies, they might get slightly warmer than the coins, but no where near temperatures like what you&#039;re suggesting.
