I would really like a list of Penny errors from 1850 to now preferably most valuable to not time wasted 22419BA9-2850-4F93-9A74-94ADDB28F0DC.jpeg 63FA3050-B23E-4CC9-8897-CD57F388B8A6.jpeg CF46823E-4688-4A6C-974B-A615821F35E8.jpeg

A doubled die is referred to as a variety not an error.

Do your own homework. A comprehensive list from then to now takes a ton of research.

EDIT: …comprehensive as applied to doubling and similar varieties…

The ones I can think of off the top of my head are 1955 , 1972, 1984, 1995 doubled die varieties. The classic 1955 and 1972 are your best lookers and most expensive.

Top 2 coins look like die deterioration, the bottom is split plating around the mm

In addition to variety vista listed above, check out

Besides the listings of known doubled dies, there is lots of info on the characteristics of true hub doubling and worthless doubling like mechanical and die deterioration. The more that you study that info, the less time you'll waste searching

Errors are individual examples, so a comprehensive list isn't possible. You may find similar examples, but never the same thing. Try this site for info on the types of errors and how they can occur

Cronin's book is too expensive. There are several good ones on the bookshelves that are cheaper and just as good in my opinion.

Debate between "errors" and "varieties"...errors do tend to be one-offs where an error was made whereas a variety can have many identical brothers and sisters. The infamous 1955 DD cent is a variety and there are a fair number of them out there. OTOH, here is the latest error I found:
