Hi, I recently got these two coins for my type set and I'm wondering what there grade and value are. I paid $11 for the 1813 and $15 for the 1846 (Canadian dollars). Let me know what you think...

    My non-expert opinions:

The 1846, small date, about EF-40, maybe $60-$65 American.

    The 1813, G-4ish, $50-$55 American.

Good deals, and a very nice 1846!

Thanks. So, does G-4 and EF-40 sound about right?

G-4 sounds about right for the 1813
I would say VF-25 on the other
Still a good buy in any case

1813(S-292 Distant Star) - ag 3 and 1846 small date net VF30 looks to be lightly cleaned with a rim ding or two. Good deal on the 1813 - 40 to 50. The 1846 the color looks a little off and it has been cleaned in my opinion - $20 to $30. Just my opinions and I think a good deal all around. Did not even try to attribute that 1846.
