If you can find a set of 1999 S silver proof quarters for that price, let me know. I cannot find a set for less than $85.00 at this time.

I just noticed the drop to $60. It looks like all jessicascoins auction items have been discounted 30% off.

Thanks for all the great advice, everyone! Guess I will just get an uncirculated state quarter set for under $20.

I have noticed a significant uptick in the roll prices of S mint business strike ATB quarters, especially the earlier issues. Glad I put a few rolls of each away, time to cash them in on the bay.

I did miss that, but, you can get them yourself one by one, no huge outlay all at once.

excellent buy, eh, maybe I'm old fashioned. Proof coins used to be something we held in awe when I was young. Shop carefully and 5 bucks for 90% proof quarter seems to me like a bargain. We all have different reasons for doing this, though. Follow your heart I guess, and stay within your budget. And always, have fun.

I just finished purchasing all the silver kennedy proofs from 1992 to the present, including the matte proof set and the 4-coin 2014 set. I even bought the gold 3/4 ounce for spot with box and everything.

I plan to do the same for the silver quarter proofs from 1992 to present, plus all the state sets, parks, plus the circ and proof bicentennial. But ONLY the silver ones, no clad.

The only thing I would pass on are the 5oz quarters. $150 for for 5 ounces of bullion is foolish in my opinion. But then I guess some could say the same about what I am doing.

    I don't think it's a good investment.

It may be neat to collect in one of those state quarter themed albums though.
