Worst US coin when extremely circulated

    I'll agree walking liberty look like a tree trunk with funky branches in low grades.. fugly. Has anyone mentioned low grade morgans? Ugly.. I deff don't mind mid grade standing liberty. But like most..when they're bad.. they're really bad

    For me it's a toss up between Barbers, Standing Liberties and Walking Liberties, which is ironic considering that they are perhaps the most beautiful US coins in high grade.

    I have yet to find a well worn zinc Lincoln, but they seem especially prone to environmental damage which makes them look hideous.

    The stupid things should have never been made. The only saving grace for Zincolns is that they have kept older cents circulating longer so I can pick the wheat out of the chaff. When coinage loses enough value that it needs to be made in a cheaper metal it is time to eliminate it.
