Well I told myself I would not CRH cents again. But today was rather boring so I picked up $50 in pennies. Managed to pull 11 out of one box. Even found a wheatback on the end roll! Booya! Then I got skunked.....BIG TIME!
I don't mind original rolls of brand new coins early in the year, I'm sure you could sell some of those for a profit.
Could be some Mint BU errors in that box of new cents. If you want to see what's worse than seeing your own mother naked, take a look at this cent I recently found in a BWR. It is inarguably the worst coin someone could ever find in circulation. The zinc has wasted away leaving a paper thin copper shell mostly on the obverse. The coin may well have broken apart if I wasn't as careful as I was before I rerolled it.
Hmm...should I crack them open? I tried selling new nickels for just a coupe bucks over face and shipping price, no takers.
Might be some foreign coins. I know someone who got 100 bucks of dimes and got a 10 pents. But that was the only thing he got
So many Mother jokes it has my head spinning...I already have an infraction anyway so I think I will just walk away from this thread!
What year are they? I can't enlarge and get a clear enough look. Out of my last 3 boxes, I got 1 box of solid 2010P and 1 box of solid 2011P. I think I am going to open maybe half of each and look for errors and possible MS69 & 70's. It would be great to get a solid box of 2012 and have congress decide to stop making Lincoln Cents this year, dream on.:smile
