I think the boys end up as angels if I am not mistaken. As for the Stoogettes, nothing that anyone has done, not the film, not the other versions of the Stoogettes, comes close the original "Three Stoogettes" which originally came out (I think) on Mad TV. It also was produced at a time when the Three Stooges were having a revival. Just just shows you how hard it is to do comedy that the original 3 are so hard to imitate.

And again to tie it to ancient coins - I do recall the Stooges make it to ancient Rome. It's bizarre when you see the coins used - the stage props in these old films.
