EF, toned, small mark on obverse, otherwise, much as struck.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>The truly Ancient coin is really an offshoot of my Albanians. The Albanian set is 'All About Zog' (ie 1920s-1930s) and were designed by an Italian mint engraver. At the time the coins were heavily influenced by the King of Italy who was an avid coin collector and thus many used the ancient coin designs as inspirations. I picked this ancient because 1. the eagle is standing/looking left (though it's not a perfect match) and 2. is otherwise awesome:</p><p>[ATTACH=full]901365[/ATTACH] </p><p>Provincial Issue of Seleucis and Pieria. Laodicea Ad Mare, Under Septimius Severus, AD 193-211. AR Tetradrachm. 27mm, 13.65 gr. Prieur 1149. Obv. Laureate and draped bust of Septimius right. Rev.
