However they show the same KM#s for both sets. One set has a mintage of 500 and the other 24,501. Both have similar values. My guess is different packaging. No Silver involved.</p><p>The coins came in the box with each coin is a glassine envelope. It feels and looks like waxed paper. I&#039;ve never came across any other coins in this type of packaging. I am sure the packaging is the reason for the cloudiness. I applied a drop of 90% alcohol on one of the Copper-Nickel coils and the cloudiness disappeared and the coin looked like a newly minted proof until the coin dried out. I think I&#039;ll let the CNs sit in some acetone for a while and see if it take the cloudiness away permanently.
