Nobody else wanted it and I&#039;m making an unwanted Peru early (ca 1820 - 1850&#039;s) set from 1/8 real to 8 escudos gold, all in mint state. [this coin is only a choice AU, but I amde an exception due to the rarity]&nbsp; I think it&#039;s the same coin (the Hammel specimen).&nbsp; Also know of another rare one: it&#039;s a Bolivian 4R 1840 or thereabouts in fine or vg grade from the Oruru mint.&nbsp; Ex Whittier, it was listed as &quot;unique&quot;.&nbsp; The Bolivar Military Busts are ugly usually even in unc, by the time you get to &quot;vg&quot; they are a more than a match for your coin in terms of ugliness.&nbsp; </p><p><br /></p><p>I wonder if all who buy very rare, but ugly &amp; cheap, Latam coins also rode scooters at one time or another?&nbsp; You should do a poll.&nbsp; Hope I didn&#039;t offend, I don&#039;t think your coin is ugly at all tho it doesn&#039;t look quite the same as a 1978-s DMCP Ike that most here see as &quot;the ultimate coin&quot;.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
