Actually I'm missing the 1947 but have both the 1931 and the 1934 (the other 2 dates of the type) both in unc. Actually I have a small flock of 1931's bought from the coin club in Panama (these are Panamanian balboas btw). They had basically a roll of these critters there and let me pick thru them and set aside the nicest half dozen or so. I think everyone there calls them "dollars" as Panama uses the dollar as it's currency and nobody really calls their currency Balboas, except for us US coin collectors. I'll try to post a photo but can post a link maybe? http://www.coinsandhistory.com/countries/Panama.html
Hello Derick, You should visit the website www.ebay.com I do not know what you will be able to see from your Internet service provider in Chile. From my computer in the USA, I can see 1,101 Chile coins for sale. I will be interested to learn what coins you might find on Ebay.
Winner in this context can be considered by some as inappropriate. The correct word is successfull bidder, which comes from acceptance and or clearance of the highest bid. "It is better NOT to understand than be misunderstood"
rumours abound who has the coin which was stolen from under the foundation stone of a church in leeds, and the same name keeps cropping up, but there is no cast iron proof.
