A very interesting and well-struck coin! According to Richard Plant's book Arabic Coins and How to Read Them the reverse inscription translates as: "The revolution of the heavens brings gold and silver from the sun and the moon, in order that it may engrave on the face (of the metal) the design of the coin of Taimur Shah"
It's not normal for me to find stuff I collect at the local coin shop. I was surprised to come across these 2 today. 1772 Frankfort city view Thaler 1713 City of Landau siege money Free City Siege Klippe 2 Florin 8 Kreuzer Obverse Script: Latin Lettering: PRO CÆE:& IMP: C.-A.-H.-Z.-W.
