The dies were heavily warped, at the end of their useful life with numerous ripples and undulations to the die faces. This is pedigreed to the Syd Martin Collection, with a special PCGS label, and this is the Plate Coin from his groundbreaking die variety book.
A new medieval coin for the collection. A very nicely struck Tournose from Cologne. The label even lists the Saurma number which is convenient.
