2 new ones. Mansfeld-Bornstedt 1774 Thaler. I purchased it for the "interesting" depiction of St. George slaying the dragon. Although well done it is almost cartoonish. And a nice Regensburg medal for the laying of the foundation stone at Trinity Church.
Nothing real spectacular, I just like an original skin coin. 1/2 Boliviano 12.5 g KM-161 Union es la Fuerza-Unity is Strength
Uniface striking of the reverse of an 1851 medal of the Altar of St. John's Basilica, Laterano (305gms, 82mm). The auction company described it as one of a series struck of the reverse of large (82mm) architectural medals of the 1800's. Despite its size, it is dwarfed by the die used to produce it.
Why is it so difficult to upload images here? I have a coin that I'd like to show, but I can't figure out how to upload it to my post. Any help would be appreciated.

From the just completed Heritage auction. Don't have it in hand yet, but appears really nice from the pics. It's a 1917 (AH1335) Heaton Mint Egypt 10 Piastres PCGS SP65. According to Heritage: A lovely special striking of this Half Dollar sized "Occupation Coinage" emission. Significant glossiness to the surfaces provides a wonderful argent sheen upon inspection, no doubt an attribute required of a "Specimen" production of this issue. Only one other Specimen designated example of this issue has been certified by PCGS, a SP66 example that sold for over $5k all-in in our November 2023 Signature sale.
Nice Hungarian piece. I visited my family in 1971. Bought the same coin at a trade shop. The "Victory" statue is walking distance from my aunts apartment. If your interested in some other pieces from Hungary, PM your address. Gratis.
