Here's some new bullion pickups. These are for my animals collection and my prehistoric animals collection. 2021 congo 20 francs achaeopterix.jpg 2022 congo 20 francs gigantopithecus.jpg 2022 dominica 2 dollars frog.jpg 2023 australia 1 dollar whales.jpg

Nothing desperately scarce, but this picked up as an upgrade - 1754 British Farthing:

Recently I picked up this 1836 Antigua farthing. As far as I know it's the only circulating coin ever made for Antigua. 1836 antigua farthing.jpg

I have picked up a few goodies in the last few days. These two Charles II Crowns, 1667 and 1681, fill gaps in my own collection:

A recent junk silver buy - 1834 France 5 Francs. It’s rough but fun.

    A couple new purchases.

A nice 12 Kreuzer from Hohnstein featuring a Wildman. Pretty sure this is KM# 40 due to the legend and lack of value.
    Polish_20231208_155538869.jpg Polish_20231208_155623709.jpg

A little kreuzer from Breslau, modern day Wroclaw, Poland. The strike on this coin is just exceptional.

These three arrived yesterday. First two - the 1707E and 1837 shillings are marginal upgrades for me.
The third is a contemporary attempt to pass off a 1711 shilling as a Guinea. Not only has the perpetrator gilded the coin, but he has engraves lines in the plain fields to more closely resemble the Guinea. This would have been a capital offence at the time.

From the same auction I picked up a handful of small hammered European coins for very little. Here we have two from Austria, one from Poland and two from Hungary:
