Bitcon commemorative as I would call it yes its a coin nothing special metal wise.No you can't cash it in and get thousands although they are selling for around $10 on the bay(just my 2 cents).
I don't know why anyone in their right mind paid to have this graded, but I'm glad they did. OGHs are my favorite.
A couple of bits arrived today. The penny is 1854 Plain Trident, a slight upgrade for me. The Medal is for the birth of the future Charles X of France as eldest son of the Dauphin (later Louis XVI) and grandson of Louis XV in 1757. (His 3 elder sisters, of course, didn't get a look in!)
Russia. 1 kopek, silver. Ruler: Ivan IV the Terrible (or Ivan the Great): 1533-1584. Caption: Ц(а)РЬ (TSAR) И (AND) ВЕЛIКIИ (GREAT) КН(я)SЬ (PRINCE) IВАНЪ (IVAN) ВСЕН (OF WHOLE) РУСIИ (RUSSIA).
Many years of searching has come to fruition. This is the sellers photo as I have only just payed for the coin.
Kutch-Bhuj Mint AE trambiyo 1867. Note the error (assuming you can read arabic numerals), as the date was engraved as 1767. I now have 2 of these, so will likely peddle off one of them.
Recent buys for basically silver: This 1 krone is a scarcer example in XF+ condition. The Canada $10 ones are a new favorite of mine. I already had the 1973 $5 & $10 four set. The two are nice type additions (Montreal skyline and soccer)
I'm not sure how you grade coins where you are, but that 1 krone would get a grade of around 1 (equivalent to F) here in Denmark - see page 26 in this guide: https://montkataloget.dk/wp-content/uploads/Kvaliteter_Flensborg_A.pdf
Using the American Sheldon grading scale, I would give that Danish krone a VF35. I have often been told I grade much too leniently and generously. Anyhow, new acquisition: Cooch Behar, Davendra Narayan, AR 1/2 rupee 1763-1765.
I figured it would be right around F-VF. But it was a good type buy for silver value. Is this a desirable scarce type/condition in country/region? Thanks for the info.
A new pickup for my Austro-Hungarian prooflike set: Austria 1892 20 Corona KM-2806 (1892-1905) NGC MS62 PL
Tentative ID = 1556-1605 Mughal, Akbar, Narnol, AE 1/2 dam. If you don't feel like giving a dam, you can give half a dam. 10.35 grams/19mmD
I think I misunderstood your post - I read it like you were saying that the one pictured was in XF condition, my apologies Silver is always good - 1875 and 1876 are the more common dates of this type, while 1892 and 1898 are harder to get in good grades.
