RSFSR coins are 1921-1923, USSR is 1923-1991. You have a very early USSR poltinnik. The equivalent RSFSR coin would be an AR 50 Kopecks (1921-1922) Y#83. The emblem is a bit different; it will have the hammer and sickle surrounded by wheat and no ribbon. If you look at your poltinnik - each fold of the ribbon going across the wheat sheafs represents a country in the USSR. As the Soviet Union grew with more member states/satellites, the emblem changed to introduce more folds. The key takeaway here is if you see the ribbon it is not RSFSR. RSFSR: USSR 1923-1936:

I got this Puerto Rico 5 centavos among many other coins I picked up on a recent visit to my favorite coin shop.
The reverse of this Brazil 10 Reid 1822 is pretty nice. Too bad someone cleaned a part of the obverse and there is an old scratch and verdigris on the obverse.
