A few recent pickups: Philip and Mary Shilling, 1555 during the brief period where GB had both Queen Mary and Philip of Spain on our coins: Henry III long cross penny minted by Ion in Canterbury: This 1936 Shilling is not scarce, but stunning condition to come out of a job lot: There were also some lovely Roman Denarii, but those I have posted in the Ancients forum.
Yeah, generic fat man dollars aren’t that rare. There are some that are but this isn’t one of those. I already have 2 or 3 others but I was looking through an old collection so I picked out anything that looked nice.

I haven't been on here much in a long time but hopefully will be more now. Here are two new additions I have got in the last couple weeks. The Large silver independence coins from African countries are an interest of mine, because I have lived in 3 African countries for a total of 11 years.
Three of my recent newps. The 2 cents are amazing IMO, especially the 1877, so much original color left! Plus the 1 Gulden is one i've wanted for a while, and i want to get more of these in the future. Coin 1: 1826 1 Cent, Utrecht Coin 2: 1877 1 Cent, Utrecht Coin 3: 1719 1 Gulden, West-Friesland

Picked up these two yesterday. First is an Armorican Gallo-Belgic billon Stater class 2 from around 75 to 50BC. I had this coin for identification a couple of years ago and have now got it in my collection in a swap for a Republican Roman Denarius. Second is a Durotriges Silver Stater, S366 in Spink, dating between 50BC and 50AD, though probably early in this window as the coins debased to billon and then bronze as Rome conquered Gaul. The Durotriges were a Celtic tribe based in South West England - Dorset and surrounding area, and this coin was found in Upwey in 1987.
Here's a 1975 10 kina from Papua New Guinea with a bird of paradise on it. It's also over an ounce of silver I believe.
