Thanks, I just decided yesterday to start collecting them. I was sitting on the fence for 4 years. They only struck silver coinage, no gold.
With some leftover x-mas money, I finally acquired my first Greek stater. I guess a hoard is being dispersed or something since I am seeing so many of these as of late & a VC dealer posted one that I was attracted to condition/price-wise. Some LCS pickups from this morning. The 1st 2 photos were purchased below spot price. Sorry for the lousy photos. They looked better on my phone. The 5 Reichsmark pieces were over spot but less than half book price.
