Well then, I will keep with your theme. Sorry for the lousy pictures. I took these before I improved my set up.
OK, for grins here is a Thai coin, 2560 10 baht. Then there is a new one that came today, 1962 Nederland-Suriname 1 gulden.
I've got a good buddy named Jed Hilbert...let me know if/when you tire of the coin. I'd love to give it to him...nothing like being reunited with something you never knew you had.
1927 Australia Parliment Florin just purchased at LCS (having a tough time with the grade if anyone wants to chime in)
Happy Friday everyone! Another Thai coin for you all! 1937 1/2 satang by Mkman123 posted Jun 21, 2018 at 8:43 PM 1937 1/2 satang rev by Mkman123 posted Jun 21, 2018 at 8:43 PM
WoW-zer! I've always thought it was the best Florin commem ever struck. The 1934 is great too, but in near gem like this one the 1927 can't be beat! As for grade, I'm going with an outlier here in suggesting it's a proof based on the denticles and overall quality. PR63
I have one of those 1927 florins too, though mine is well circulated, not a gem beauty like that one above! I would grade it AU58, the nicks on the obverse hold it back a bit. Reverse looks flawless.
Already had the 1931 in MS64. Added the 1935 at Ponterio's internet auction a few weeks ago, and then added the 1932 & 1933 as post-auction buys from the same Stacks auction. A nice trio in mostly white (the way I like them) that cost about what a single MS65 of any these dates would fetch.
Some new additions to my 66 album. Poland 100 zlotych Poland 100 zlotych - Proba Poland 100 zlotych - Proba
