I picked-up 7 nice coins containing 1.9 ounces of silver at last weekend's Naugatuck coin show. This first coin is a 1923 Italy 1 Lire which is made of Nickel.
From Keplinger Coins - fantastic luster breaking through a light coat of gray toning. Crossed it from an NGC slab. It's a first 1812 JJ certified by PCGS and fits nicely in my set. Two sets of images to show the surfaces and luster.
I was extremely happy to have found this coin - a silver 50 mils coin from Palestine of the British Mandate period. It's toned and dirty, not worn, but definitely circulated. And I prefer to have a circulated one, especially in this case.
Israel 20 lirot 1960. I picked this up for melt plus a few points. I thought the design layout of the obverse was different and creative. Matt
Absolutely amazing!!! What a great selection of coins. I'm extremely impressed and jealous. Wherever did you find such great coins at one time?
