it's the 1918, which is the key date, i was originally going to sell it but i have caved in to my desire for collecting classic coins.

incidentally it is the 6th one i have found in the past 4 weeks the others are from 1919......................

Here's one that you don't see every day-- A colored North Korean 1 ounce silver bullion coin, commemorating North Korean-Chinese "friendship"

I don't collect types or anything like that... I collect coins that IMO are interesting and/or beautiful.

This is one I have been meaning to tick off my list of beautiful coins for a long time. The 1966 Australian 50c in .800 silver.

It cost me £7 (US$11) which on UK eBay is an absolute bargain.

Here is a coin that would be of little interest to most. A common VOC. Why I posted it here is because to me, this was a sale where the seller went out of his way to complete the transaction. I paid very little for it. I'm sure the seller spent ten times that getting it to me. It was purchased from someone in Jakarta in mid January and arrived this past Saturday, 04/05/2012. I post this in honor of a person, who gave this much time and effort, to satisfy his customer. Great job Mr Lumin! :>)
