I went on a little pre-Christmas buying spree. Here are a few others from my want list that I picked up.
Out of nearly 40,000 Mexican coins I have finally found one dated 2016. That took long enough! I was going through about 20 pounds of coins I received yesterday and this one caught my eye right away. I felt obligated to take pictures and share. (By the way, I only own modern MXN coins that are spendable, between 1992-2016. I got approximately 36,633.15 in coin)
these 3 came in the mail today. 1919 Kwangtung (Guangdong) 5 Cents 1949 Yunnan 20 Cents 1908 Kiangnan 1 Cash (Brass)
I have the same problem. I bid a bit more on these then I would have liked but it ended up being about $10 each. Which is about par with what I've had to pay in the past.
That's about what my max bid usually is unless the condition is really good. You can get them for that if it's the right seller. The weird thing on eBay with coins is that some sellers get 2-3 times the prices others do just because of who they are. If you get a less popular seller who only ships to the U.S. you can maybe find a deal.
Some new pickups from yesterday: Great Britain - 1902 2 Pence with clearly repunched/reengraved date Germany (Bavaria) - 1871 1 Kreuzer Germany (Bavaria) - 1866 3 Kreuzer
Here is a 1979 Finland 25 markkaa which I got because of the fish. The 1993 Gibraltar 1 crown is for my bears collection. The 2013 Austria 5 euro I just liked because of the wildlife.
