    >I like the reverse of this .500 fine Cunuck Dollar, that came in yesterday with an American 1925 nickel<

Very nice nautical scene on the reverse of the Cunuck dollar.

I picked up this nice South African commemorative of the father of apartide. He was assinated in 1966 so this 1967 silver Rand. Of course on the reverse is the Springbok which I like a lot. Also picked up this old Wiemar 5000 Mark note.

I just bought an 8 reales myself but I haven't rec'd it yet, I'll try to get some up soon. I also got one of the Mexico 75 Anniversario 1985 proofs, got the idea from you Rip. :hail: Another one I got recently is an Aztec Calendar 1993, I was totally bummed cause it costs me $85 bucks but check out what they're going for now. Anyone have any stashed, I'm just sayin'. When it comes to silver coins Mexico is right up there with company A, I mean the US. :D The price of silver is way too high for me to keep buying but b/c of the price, ppl are busting out with the good stuff.

Yep Fret the Mexican "4 amigos" is my favorite Mex coin. Ya know if you buy your Mexican coins old enough, they turn into American coins. Living here in California, I wonder about the history of my pre mexican war coins. Here are a couple of old mexico/california realies. Make you think a bit. IMG_1117.jpg IMG_1118.jpg

Well I needed this 1960 silver French 5 Francs for that set. Its a decent coin, and with silver prices what they are I was lucky to get it for $9. I have always liked "The Sower." :smile

I've been picking up odds and ends out of the bargain bin at the coin show over the last few months. Nothing rare or valuable but just some things that caught my eye.

Was the flying nude symbol on the 1909 20c coin used on larger coins? It's very cool.
