Here are a couple of new ones from this weekend. A kutch stage 3 dokda, not sure of the year, and a large silver coin from Singapore.
These beasts came in the mail today. They are 39mm in diameter, weigh about 34g, and have a 0.925 silver center. I've had a hard time finding the exact weight of the center but I've read in several places that is is about 20 grams. If that's the case, I paid under melt for them 2004 Mexico 100 Pesos, State of Sonora 2004 Mexico 100 Pesos, State of Tabasco 2005 Mexico 100 Pesos, State of Hidalgo
Nice, I have wanted to collect those silvers from Mexico but there is just so many of them and some can get expensive.
Considering the type of coin, I think a little over melt is within reason. It's not like buying a 1 oz round for markup price, I believe some of these world coins have a touch of numismatic interest.
These Canadians came in the mail today. I got them for about $5 under melt. Nobody else bid on them. The seller only took pictures of a couple of the quarters and the dimes. In the description he mentioned that you would get the dollar, 6 quarters, and 4 dimes. I took my chances and ended up alright
These also came in the mail today. They were listed as all British 50% silver florins. Obviously the top left is not a British florin. It's a sterling silver 1925 Aussie florin. Also, after winning, I noticed there was a 1932 florin. This is "the" key date George V florin with only 717,000 minted (https://www.ngccoin.com/price-guide...-shillings-km-834-1927-cuid-42717-duid-123154). Double win!
