Yes it's extremely high relief. Easily my favorite out of my Hungarian medals and jetons.

One of only around 50 known, picked it at an auction in Sydney, also picked up an AU 1860-Syd, an UNC 1864-Syd, an UNC 1881-S, UNC 1883-S, AU 1887-M Young Head. I'll get some photos up when I have time.

Plus this PCGS AU55 1856 at an auction in Melbourne.

Very nice early half sovs. But why is the photo of the 1856 reverse a bit fuzzy in the centre?

Nice. I bought a few last year and know they are very hard to come by even in a moderately decent grade. Enjoy your latest acquisitions. :)

Thanks - I certainly will, most are just upgrades but the 1855 has been a hole for a long time. I now have every business strike Aussie mint half sovereign except the 1893-M Old Head.

Picked this bunch of for over melt, not usually my M.O., but I really liked the silver coins it came with and the other coppers were very nice also. All total, I got 13 coins for $19.99 and free shipping ($1.53 per coin). There is a little over an ounce of silver in them.
