Liechtenstein used Austrian cash (Vereinstaler, Krone) until the mid-1920s. Then they switched to the Swiss franc. But the country does not really issue money any more, apart from a few collector coins: The last issues (10 fr silver, 50 fr gold each) came out in 1990 and 2006. Christian
@Hiddendragon I picked up some of those aussie tokens. Surprisingly these are the first ones in my collection. Not pretty (look at the lions face, makes me chuckle) but I like them.
Here's one I purchased earlier in the month and Just got in hand today. 2-3 Rim dings but all in all a nice piece
here's one i picked up at a coin show over the weekend from a couple of jawas. i also purchased a couple of droids.
This was added to the collection started for my new daughter-in-law. It's from the lower Saxony-Albertine area where she was born and raised. PCGS graded this as MS62, a population of 1 of 2. I think this is more a high AU coin, not MS. Too much rim damage in my opinion. However, I paid a MS price for it regardless.
Here's a new pickup for my collection of Habsburg Hungarian coronation jetons. Austria Charles VI Coronation Jeton 1712 - PCGS MS64 Commemorating Charles VI of Austria's coronation as King Karoly III of Hungary: May 22, 1712 Silver 4.3g 25mm
You have a very nice collection going. Now get the 1998 and work you way up. Looking forward to your acquisitions. It will be awesome when you get them all! All I have is the 1983, and 2001 as type coins. Both uncertified. I recently purchased a 2015 and was disappointed in the quality. I do have a full set (uncertified) of the 2014s. 5,2,1,1/2,1/4,1/10, and 1/20 ounce. I am thinking about getting a proof Libertad to add to my collection also. Good hunting.
I prefer the Libertad over all the other foreign bullion. It replaced my like for the Austrian Philharmonic several years ago. I can't even tell you why. Perhaps it's because of all the detail that stays in balance to the human eye. I don't have a complete set from any given year, but it's something I have on my "interest list" for this coming winter F.U.N. Show.
Thanks--I have many of them. The late 90s are the hard ones, as I would like them certified. 1998 is the toughest, and I am working on the full set in high grade uncirculated. Have a few proofs, and have the 2015 "Fabulous Five" proof set, with its extremely low mintage. Hooked completely on Libertads.
