sweet 5 kopeks! here a coin that's like me, ugly...but interesting. well, i've had a ball trying to figure out what the heck this is. i believe it to be a 4 maravedis of philip iv of spain. it's overstruck on something else (probably a lion and castle type), and looks like it was overstruck or counterstamped or something. the obverse show a monogram of philip iv below a crown (the right side of it looks like a dollar sign) i think the "iv" value counterstamp wiped out the left of the monogram. the reverse shows RX under a crown. 1659 date below. if i'm wrong, your if anyone has any additional info, i'd be very interested.
just now bought this off Ebay for my German States/Baden griffin set. German States/Baden 1831 Thaler (Krone) KM#195.1 weight 18.1480g. or .5105oz. metal: .875 silver , Ruler Leopold I , mintage: 168,000 , sellers pics: I really like it. quite scarce too... mintage only 168,000 it's all about the bass(griffins) lol
3rd purchase of 2015. A coin that has always interest me. Found one at a price I liked, and added to the Mexico collection. This is a bullion coin with a mintage of 206,000. It shows the eagle Warrior.

1992 If it were graded I wonder What it would be graded MS PR SP or RP? one nice Mexican coin from a Very Old Mint too.

German States/ Baden 1850 , 2 Gulden, KM#222, .900 silver, mintage- 140,000 for the Baden griffin set. ruler: Leopold I, I really like it. quite scarce.
